Knysna Heads

Morning collection from your hotel and enjoy a drive towards the lagoon-side town of Knysna. Start the day with a visit to the Knysna Heads where the view is nothing like you have ever seen, with jutting rocks and spectacular sea views. The viewing platforms allow for fabulous photo opportunities out to sea from the heads or the other way towards the Knysna lagoon. At the bottom of the heads you will see Coney Beach, a secluded, quaint, and incredibly beautiful beach with a view of the heads and surrounded by trees and plants.

 

 

Featherbed Experience

Proceed to the Knysna Waterfront where you shall board the boat that will take you to Featherbed Nature Reserve which is flourishes with indigenous flora. Enjoy a tractor ride to the top of the Western Head with the option of a guided 2.2km walk through coastal forest and fynbos into ancient sea caves. The excursion ends with a buffet lunch at an outdoor restaurant setting under a canopy of Milkwood trees.

 

 

Wine Tasting

Upon return to the main land we visit the newest wine region in South Africa near Plettenberg Bay for a first-class wine tasting.

 

 

Lookout Beach

A glorious end to a perfect day u2013 a stroll along Lookout Beach with a possible stop at the Whale Tale Lookout Point for panoramic views across Plettenberg Bayu2019s stretches of white sandy beaches and over the Indian Ocean. Return to your hotel late afternoon.
