Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard to Hout Bay - a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach. Continue on through Chapman's Peak, one of the world's most breath-taking coastal drives, to

Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve.

 

 

The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve

Arrive at the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point, which is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Watch the dramatic clash of the seas from the view point which can be accessed by a foot or the Flying Dutchman Funicular (additional cost to own account). A lunch stop (to own account) will be discussed with your guide en-route to Simon's Town.

 

 

Simon's Town & Boulders Beach Penguin Colony

Arrive in the historic Simon's Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. Boulders penguin colony is home to a growing colony of the protected African penguin. Wooden walkways allow visitors to view penguins in their natural habitat.

 

 

Constantia Winelands

Our next stop is the Constantia wine region, the birthplace of the South African wine industry. Enjoy a leisurely wine tasting at one of (but not limited to) the historic wine estates in the area such as Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia, Buitenverwachting, or Constantia Uitsig. Return to your hotel late afternoon.
